Star Wars Celebration Patch
I had the honor of creating another patch for a number of popular Star Wars fan sites to be given away in pieces at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim in April, 2015.
The design is a new droid from Star Wars - The Force Awakens, BB-8, along with the sponsor's logos. The patch is designed to be cut into pizza wedges.
Once the design was approved it was sent to a patch maker and embroidered with a high stitch count to create this neat looking (and big!) patch which is almost 10 inches tall.
Shown is an uncut patch, and the final patch which was cut into individual slices and given away at Celebration by the respective sites. Lucky collectors were able to get all 6 pieces to create the full patch.
BB-8 checks out the patch that bears his likeness in the display at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim. I wonder if he was able to get one for himself.
